He has an academic and clinical background that includes a long teaching career of 17 years, during which he contributed significantly to medical education and training. At present, he is on a planned professional break to focus on his personal health and family responsibilities.

He provides consultation and guidance in the diagnosis and management of a wide range of hematological conditions, including thalassemia, hemophilia, aplastic anemia, various types of leukemias, lymphomas, multiple myeloma, and Waldenstrom macroglobulinemia.
