About Dr. Ketan Parmar

I have over 30 years of experience in psychiatry, specializing in adult, child, geriatric, and forensic mental health. I completed my MBBS from Bombay University, followed by an M.D. in Psychiatry and a Doctorate in Podiatric Medicine (DPM) from T.N. Medical College. I am also an active member of professional organizations including the Indian Psychiatric Society, the Indian Association of Social Psychiatry, the Indian Association of Suicidology, and the Indian Association of Child & Adolescent Mental Health.

I practice at Swaminarayan Clinic & Nursing Home in Borivali East and Mumbai Goel Hospital in Andheri East. My approach combines evidence-based methods such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Anger Management Therapy, and treatments for Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder, along with a deep focus on patient-centered care. Over the years, I have been recognized for my contributions, including receiving the President’s Award at the 22nd Annual Conference of the Indian Psychiatric Society in 1991.
