I am Dr. Milan Balakrishnan, a Psychiatrist and Psychologist with over 13 years of experience, currently practicing at Bombay Hospital & Medical Research Centre in Mumbai. About Dr. Milan Balakrishnan

I completed my MBBS from JMF’S ACPM Medical College in 2005, followed by a Diploma in Psychiatry (DPM) from King Edward Memorial Hospital and Seth Gordhandas Sunderdas Medical College in 2007, and an M.D. in Psychiatry from Seth G.S. Medical College in 2011. Over the years, I have gained extensive experience in treating a wide range of mental health conditions including anxiety, depression, obsessive-compulsive disorder, substance abuse, and behavioral concerns. I also specialize in therapies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), psychotherapy, anger management, and marital counseling.

I have previously worked as a Psychiatrist at Mindcare’s Clinic and was the founder of Mindcares.com. My work has been recognized with awards, including the Best Paper Award at KEM Staff Society for research on HIV Dementia and recognition for work on alcohol and depression. I am known for being an attentive listener and providing patient-centered care, helping individuals manage complex mental health challenges with confidence and clarity.
