His qualifications include MBBS, MS in Orthopaedics, DNB Orthopaedics, MNAMS, and Dip SICOT. He has undergone advanced training across renowned international centers in Singapore, the United Kingdom, Switzerland, the United States, and Latin America, with specialized fellowships in arthroscopy, cartilage reconstruction, and sports surgery.

His expertise covers a wide range of procedures including arthroscopy of the knee, shoulder, ankle, elbow, wrist, and hip, along with joint preservation, joint replacement, and complex trauma care. Dr. Saseendar has successfully treated numerous athletes, enabling them to return to competitive sports after significant injuries. An active contributor to academics, he has authored over 40 peer-reviewed articles and more than 25 book chapters, and serves on editorial boards of leading orthopedic journals. He holds key leadership roles in international orthopedic organizations and has received several prestigious recognitions, including the International Lester Lowe SICOT Award twice, along with a gold medal for excellence in postgraduate orthopaedic studies.
